Coming from Edmonton, Alberta, where the temperatures were already dipping below zero, Dockside Dreams Lakehouse felt like stepping into another world — one filled with sunshine, warm breezes, and absolute relaxation. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless. The hosts were incredibly responsive and warm. They even arranged airport pickup for us and set us up with a Sprinter van, which made it so easy for our family to explore nearby beaches and local spots at our own pace. The house itself? Stunning. Spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and fun. Our kids were obsessed with the kayaks — they spent hours out on the calm lake, laughing and racing each other while we watched from the dock. And I have to admit — the Jet Skis turned the adults into kids again. There’s just something about skimming across the water on a hot afternoon that brings out pure joy. The weather was absolutely perfect the whole time we were there — warm and sunny — a welcome break from the chilly fall back home in Canada. My wife and I agreed before we even left: this place is going to be our annual getaway. Whether it’s with the whole family or just the two of us, Dockside Dreams is now officially part of our lives. Amazing House | Amazing Host

We booked this house while in town for a conference at the Tampa Bay Convention Center, and it turned out to be absolutely perfect for us three adult men The commute back and forth every day was super smooth with surprisingly very little to no traffic, which made things even better. It wasn’t all work though…we rented the jet ski and had an absolute blast. Starting the day with coffee by the lake was unbeatable, and the vibe of the whole place made it really hard to leave for work. Bianca, the host, was awesome, super responsive, and made everything easy, she even let us extend our stay without any hassle. Since this was technically a business trip, the value was incredible too. Three hotel rooms would’ve cost way more than this full house (with jet skis!). We’re already planning to come back with our families and friends. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Let’s say we were pleasantly surprised! The home was immaculate. All high quality! From furniture to door's and interior design, down to the kitchen utensils was astonishing ! Great stay - husband approved

We booked Dockside Dreams for a surprise weekend getaway so my husband could finally see his beloved Buccaneers play in Tampa. From the moment we walked in, it felt like a private lakeside resort—peaceful, spacious, and absolutely gorgeous. The location was perfect: just a short drive to the stadium, yet tucked away enough that we could relax by the water before and after the game. We loved sipping coffee on the patio in the morning and winding down in the jacuzzi at night. This trip was unforgettable, and the house made it even more special. We’ll definitely be back for the next home game!

Top notch Guys trip

Booked this place for my best friend’s bachelor party and it was a total win. The layout was perfect for a group with tons of beds, big living spaces, and that outdoor setup? Insane. We grilled out by the lake, played games in the theater room, and chilled in the hot tub till late. It felt private but still close enough to hit up downtown Tampa and Ybor for nightlife. The lake and dock made it feel like a retreat without being far from the action. 10/10 recommend for any group trip or bachelor party. You won’t want to leave.

Girls Getaway

The ultimate girls’ getaway spot! This place had everything we needed—plenty of space, gorgeous views, and a vibe that was both fun and luxurious. We spent our mornings sipping mimosas on the dock, lounged in the jacuzzi under the stars, and had a private balloon setup waiting when we arrived (such a cute touch!). The indoor dining space was perfect for our charcuterie night, and the fire pit was our go-to for late-night laughs and s’mores. We felt safe, pampered, and totally at ease. Already planning our next girls’ weekend here!

Best vacation rental ever!

Best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in—hands down. We were a group of 9 and had more than enough space to spread out and relax. The theater room chairs that recline into beds? Genius. The double shower in the master bathroom? Luxurious. And that jacuzzi under the tree? Absolute heaven. The location was ideal: close to ZooTampa, the stadiums, beaches, and even Universal wasn’t too far. This place is perfect for both relaxing and exploring. We’ve already recommended it to two friends!

Family Reunion Fun

We booked this home for a small family reunion and it delivered beyond expectations. The lake views were stunning, the layout was perfect for multiple families, and the kitchen and dining areas were great for group meals. Everyone loved the Smart TVs in every room, the huge living room sofa, and the floor-to-ceiling windows that made it feel like indoor/outdoor living. The kids kayaked every day and even spotted ducks from the dock. We hosted a private hibachi dinner on the patio one night and it was unforgettable. This isn’t just a rental. This place is an experience.
